NIEPMD, Chennai Infrastructure: Library, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

NIEPMD infrastructure is spread over 15.22 acres of land in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In addition to being equipped with modern facilities for a better learning experience, NIEPMD is built along the shores of the sea, giving a scenic view from the campus. The college has a library, medical facilities, auditorium/seminar halls, and a good IT Infrastructure. Some of the highlighting features of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities infrastructures are given below.

Hostel: NIEPMD hostel facilities are offered to boys and girls separately. Outstation students who cannot commute to the college daily are given hostel facilities. A maintenance fee is levied and taken at the beginning of the academic year. The hostels are well-furnished and have Wi-Fi, food, and clean drinking water.

Library: The NIEPMD has a central library with various volumes of books and references books in various streams. Subscriptions to national and international journals, reference books from various reputed authors and periodicals related to disabilities, rehabilitation, and management are present in the NIEPMD campus library.

Medical Facilities: The NIEPMD infrastructure has a well-established medical room for first-aid and other medical emergencies.

Guest Room: The NIEPMD infrastructure includes a guest room or a waiting room for the visiting faculty member of students' families.
