National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research is the first national-level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a center of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia, and Africa. NIPER is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. The Institute is located about 250 Km north of Delhi at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab on a total area of 130 acres. The central instrumentation laboratories are equipped with major instruments like UV-VIS spectrophotometers, CHNS-Elemental analyzer, Polarimeter, Circular Dichroism,  Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Analytical and preparative HPLC systems, DSC, TGA, Spectroflourimeter, Capillary Electrophoresis, Lyophilizer, and Ultra Centrifuge, etc. Each department also has a separate specialized instrument laboratory to fulfill individual departmental needs based on the research programs, which includes high and normal pressure multiple organic synthesizers, peptide synthesizer, gel permeable chromatography, hydrogenation reactors, etc. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Admissions conducts various educational programs at the postgraduate and doctoral levels and is currently offering degrees like M.S (Pharm)/ M. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Admission 2024

NIPER is a public University under the Government of India. It is one of the seven schools established under the central Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research admission 2024 offers masters and doctoral level courses in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

1. The university, every year conducts programs on drug surveillance including the study of the sociological aspects of “drug use & abuse”. NIPER is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities also.
2. The institute conducts various educational programs at the postgraduate and doctoral levels and is currently offering degrees like MS (Pharm)/ M. Pharm/ M.Tech (Pharm)/ MBA (Pharm) and Ph.D.
3. A student shall be required to earn the minimum credits through courses as mentioned for an individual academic program under the ordinance and carry out research work in the Institute under the guidance of an approved advisor.
4. Every student has to register himself/ herself before the commencement of each semester according to the schedule and procedure laid down by the institute.
5. All students are required to attend every lecture and practical class during the semester: provided that in the case of the late registration, sickness, and other contingencies, the attendance required will be a minimum of 75% of the classes held.

The college presently offers postgraduate courses in M.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Sc, and MBA with several specializations. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research offers full-time courses of 2 years duration to the applicants. The postgraduate courses altogether offer 15 specialization for the applicants to choose from.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The college offers full-time courses postgraduate courses in M.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Sc, and MBA with several specializations of 2 years duration to the applicants. The candidates will be admitted to all the PG courses based on the written test- NIPER Joint Entrance Exam, conducted by NIPER. The course fee for M.Pharm and M.Tech (Pharm) is INR 95,000 per annum for 2 years. The course fee for MBA is INR 2,47,000 per annum for 2 years.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Ph.D Admission 2024

The college presently offers Ph.D course in three disciplines with 15 specializations. The three disciplines are Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and  Pharmaceutical Sciences. The admissions will be based on the candidate’s merit in the written test and interview.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Ph.D Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

For admission to Ph.D candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the College. All admissions are made strictly in accordance with the college rules in force at the time of admission. All the candidates applying for the Ph.D courses at NIPER will be admitted through an entrance test. The entrance test will consist of 170 question and the maximum marks will be 85. The qualified candidates will have to be present for the Personal Interview round. The course fee for Ph.D is INR 1,26,800 per annum.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Admission Fee

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research offers postgraduate and Ph.D programs in the field of pharmacy. All the courses are for a term of 2 years. The approximate fee to be paid per year for several courses is as below:

• The course fee for M.Pharm is Rs. 95,000 per annum for 2 years.
• The course fee for M.Tech(Pharm) is also Rs. 95,000 per annum.
• The course fee for MBA is Rs. 2,47,000 per annum for 2 years.
