National Law University Orissa was established in 2009 in Cuttack, Orissa. NLU is a state-level university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The University offers UG, PG, and doctorate programs in law, and the courses offered are BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLM, PhD, and MPhil.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine includes classes and timings are from 9 am to 1 pm. There are 2 clusters and 6 subjects. Cluster 1 we have to submit 3 projects and same is for cluster 2. Experienced teachers from the country come and teach you, very good teachers and easy to approach them. My overall experience is excellent, I think I will be placed among good students and good firm by the time I complete my grad.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Hi, so basically I'm currently studying in 3rd year of my college which is national law University, Odisha. Eligibility criteria for my college are that you have appeared for an entrance test exam popularly known as CLAT. CLAT also means common law admission test. The cut-off is generally up to 130 marks out of 200 marks

Placements & Internships : I have done 5 internships, first is an NGO known as a national green tribunal, in Bhopal. Second is a law firm run by senior advocate Vijay Chaudhary in Bhopal. The third and fourth internship is at the district court of Bhopal. And the fifth Internship is at Delhi High court. Alumni from the company like Thomson Reuters come regularly.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fees include your mess and academic fees which is around INR 2 lakhs. Scholarship can be availed from academic departments such as IDIA and other caste students are given scholarship up to 1 lakhs. Loans can be availed from SBI bank branch office which is situated inside the college.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels. 2 boys and 2 girls. Hostel fees are stagnant and will cost you 30,000. There is no pgs available. Food quality is so good that you cannot imagine, different dishes like south Indian, north Indian, Chinese and veg and non-veg. Everything is easily available. WiFi is excellent and works 24 hours. Big library and infrastructure. AC classrooms.

Clubs & Associations : There are committed for everything to work in a good manner. Such as core committee which looks out for academic things, mess committee, Internship committee, placement committee, the cult crew is for college fests. We have a college fest in March every year known as VIRAJ. do come and join us. Fantastic life throughout the college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : NLU, Odisha is one of the prestigious institutions of the nation. In order to become the part of National Law University, one has to appear in a national level entrance exam CLAT. The courses offered by this institution includes B.A LLB, BBA 'LL.B, 'LL.M, Ph.d.

Placements & Internships : Studying in the national university always gives the upper-hand in securing jobs in reputable companies. The students of this college get opportunities to intern under big law firms, companies, and courts.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The campus is quite huge...It has several facilities including auditorium, playground and well maintained and equipped library. The classroom is well furnished. There is a free wifi in the campus for the students.

Clubs & Associations : In the present time, the burden of education has become extremely high. In order to lighten the burdens of the students, several cultural programs and events are organized by the institution... There is active participation of the students which assist them in improving their skills.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for National law university, Odisha is Score more than 50 percent marks in 12th class. For this, you have to qualify the CLAT entrance exam. The cut off of different college varies according to college.
