Compaies like TCS, Cocentrix, HCL, British Telecom, Capital First limited etc comes to offer placements. Average salary may vary from INR 10000-30000.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Eligibility:The college conducts an entrance exams for different courses. For BSc maths group and biology group also there are two different exams and admission is based on the rank scored . Entrance exam course:Its a 100 mcq paper with 50 questions based on +2 subjects,20general studies,20 reasonings and aptitude,5+5 based on general English and hindi.
Fees & Scholarships :
Course fees varies from different combinations you choose. Average fee is INR 15000-25000 Per Annum. There is a scholarship option provide to students who scores good cgpa. The students get a notice about this scholarship in the college.
Academics & Faculty :
The classes start at 8:00 am and each lecture is 1&1/2 hr and the dismissal time is different for different combinations. It varies from 11:15 am-2:15 pm. Every year the dismissal timings change accordingly. Now talking about quality and method of teaching, I would say its more or less than a school type method, if a student is regular enough in each and every classes then they will not have any problem as they will have their notes well maintained. According to me, the college is good for those who want a school environment in college so if you are thinking of taking admission then it is better not to expect a fancy college life which most of the students dream in their school days. Students are given assignments in each semester, and also there are two internal test of 10-10 marks each if each subject and the final semester paper is of 70 marks,10 marks are of internals+assignment.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Infrastructure: College have a separate science block which is not as big as university. There is a canteen which is quite good than most of the colleges . They provide good delicious stuff which are hygienic too. Hostel Facility: College do provide hostel facility separate for boys and girls . The hostel has its separate building near college itself. For girls there are both ac and non ac rooms and for boys there are only non ac rooms . The students have to fill a separate form for hostel facility and their selection is done on 12th percentage. Average rates of hostels is between INR 60,000-80,000 pa. Now talking about college's classrooms so they are average but are way better than old govt colleges,the seats and furniture are in well condition,rooms are non ac, college also have 2 Computer labs,physicslab , chemistry lab,zoology lab and the facilities are good.there is also a wifi provided by the college but for college work only, students are strictly restricted to bring mobile phones in college campus and checking is done surprisingly any time so it is better nit to carry your phones in classrooms ,if you take mobiles for reason that you come from long routes than you must keep it in your own scooty or anyone's whom you konw before entering the classroom. They also have a library which issues the student's books of their course and they try to provide each and every student with this facility. With this they also have a separate Reading Room in which student can go and read and study whatever he/she wants in free time with no discomfort.
Clubs & Associations :
College also provides NCC and NSS, the students can join various clubs and societies in their extra activities. There are many functions like oaj which includes various types of activities which are talent based, poster competition, writing competition, debates, tech activities, they also provide participation for combined college-level competition, they have sports facilities and also conduct sports day. According to my experience living in this college for a science student is very hectic, the student should prepare with the truth that after 12th he/she would enjoy their college life but here its more or less a school life.
