Placements & Internships : Last year Google came to the campus and offered a salary of INR 15000 per month to the B.Com final year students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get into B.Com course of National Post Graduate College, Lucknow hereafter NPGC, you have to get through an entrance examination conducted by the college. Form filling process starts roughly in May and the entrance examination is conducted in the month of June. There is a huge competition to get into the B.Com course of the college as it is ranked as the 26th best Commerce College of India. Total intake for the course is 550, divided into 2 categories 1) Regular (Government aided; less fee; nearly 5k -6k) 2) self-finance (nearly Rs. 22,000 fees) The college has one of the best commerce faculty. Placements are also done in the college. It is ranked 1st in India among Anthropology colleges. The only setback is in NPGC you don't have a college life (what you see in TV or videos) it's more of a school, you wear a uniform, teachers will ask you to get a hair cut, you have to wear an ID card etc. But if you want to study? Go for it!!!

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 5000-6000 for Regular & INR 22000 for self-finance. There are government scholarships available for the students who have financial constraints (family income is low). Loan facility is not available by the college as the fee is already not much.

Academics & Faculty : Classes for different courses have different timings mostly in 2 shifts (morning 8:00 to 10:30) (afternoon 10:30 to 1:00). Teachers mostly have Ph.D in their subjects with brilliant teaching abilities.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are separate hostels for girls and boys with the boys hostel fees being INR 60,000 per year. Those who dont want a hostel can seek nearby PG. College hostel is really cheap if you compare and the hostel is also good. Classrooms are of okay type. Library is huge with a vast variety of books for different streams. No wifi in boys hostel but it is available in girls hostel.

Clubs & Associations : Campus has no dedicated fest as such. Only cultural competitions on Independence Day and Republic day are held. College life is more of school life.
