NSUT Latest Updates

February 18, 2025

• The JAC Delhi counselling 2025 application window for admission to BTech and BArch courses will commence in May 2025.
• The UCEED 2025 results announcement is scheduled for March 7, 2025.
• The MAT 2025 registration process for the February session is available for PBT and CBT; the deadlines are March 2 and March 9, 2025, respectively. Furthermore, the MAT 2025 PBT and CBT will be held on March 9 and 23, 2025, respectively.
• The CUET UG registration process 2025 for admission to UG courses will start approximately in the last week of February 2025. The CUET UG 2025 exam dates will be revealed shortly.
• The CMAT 2025 results have been released for MBA, PGDM, and MMS admissions. Registered candidates can log in and download their scorecards from the official website.
• The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result is now available for IIT Hyderabad admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan courses. Registered candidates can see or download their scorecards on the official website. Registration for session 2 is currently open, with a February 25, 2025 deadline. Additionally, the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is set to take place between April 1 and April 8, 2025.

NSUT, or Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, was established in the year 1983, with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources Development [MHRD], Government of India, to establish a new engineering college by the name of Delhi Institute of Technology [DIT]. In 2023, the NSUT NIRF Ranking was #57 in the Engineering category.

The University was formerly known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. NSUT offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in engineering and management. The admissions are based on national-level exams such as JEE Mains, GATE, CAT and UGC-NET. The admission for PhD 2023-2024 is ongoing.

The government of NCT Delhi recognizes NSUT. It was ranked 6th by the latest DataQuest-CMR T-School survey of 2015. The survey ranked the top 25 government T-Schools of India across various categories and calculated a composite score of 100 for each institute. NSUT has a 145-acre campus and all the latest amenities. NSUT offers excellent placements; in 2022, the median package offered was INR 16 LPA, and the average package offered was INR 9 LPA.

NSUT Admission 2025

NSUT admission can be made through the college's official website. NSUT offers admission to BTech, BE, BBA, MTech, MBA, and  PhD. NSUT provides admission through marks obtained in JEE mains, GATE, JAC [Joint Admission Counseling], DASA [Direct Admission of Students Board], or through PMSSS [Prime Minister Special Scholarship Schemes]. The final selection of the candidates for the sponsored [full-time] and the selection committee shall make the part-time course based on their performance at the qualifying examination, written test, and interview. The intake of students to these postgraduate programs is 23 in each department.

NSUT Eligibility Criteria

 Candidates willing to apply to NSUT must fulfill the below-given eligibility criteria before applying for the test.

BTech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have scored at least 55% aggregate in 10+2 from any recognized college or school.
• A valid JEE Mains score.

MTech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have scored at least 55% aggregate in BTech/BE from any recognized college.
• A valid GATE score.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have a relevant master's degree.
• A valid UGC-NET/University written test score.
