FEE CONCESSIONS, STIPEND & SCHOLARSHIPS

  1. Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and converts from them are eligible for full fee concession, lumpsum grant for purchase of books, and monthly stipends at the rate fixed by the Govt. from time to time.
  2. They will have to produce a certificate of nativity and community (if these are not specified in their S.S.L.C. book) from the Village Officer concerned. Proper applications with necessary certificates have to be submitted within the prescribed time, to the Harijan Welfare Department through the Principal.
  3. The Lumpsum grant and monthly stipend will be released to the students only on the basis of their good conduct, attendance and progress in studies, as certified by the principal.
  4. Poor students of Other Backward Communities who are bona fide subjects of Kerala State, are eligible for full fee concession as per Kumara Pillai Commission Report.
  5. They will have to produce the necessary nativity and income certificates from the Village Officer. They also will have to submit proper applications together with necessary certificates within the prescribed time.
  6. Poor students can apply for assistance from college SAF in the month of August.
  7. Benefits of the 'Students' welfare Scheme' launched in connection with the Ruby Jubilee of the College, will be made available to poor students who happen to undergo prolonged and expensive medical treatment or who fall victims to natural calamities.
