Placements & Internships :
There are no campus placements like we see in DU colleges but if you are persistent you can land yourself a job. May be as an M.R or in BPO. No commerce specific jobs, atleast none till 2015. my suggestion is you are good enough
Placements & Internships :
There are no campus placements like we see in DU colleges but if you are persistent you can land yourself a job. May be as an M.R or in BPO. No commerce specific jobs, atleast none till 2015. my suggestion is you are good enough to get into ppn, it means you are abright student. Scoring aggregate 88% is not that easy. You should probably start preparing for professional courses like CA,ICWA,MBA or start preparing for bank exams or other government exams like SSC,AFCAT etc. A little persistence on your part shall land you a good job by the time you graduate.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
I am an alumni of PPN college(2015 batch). Higher education in kanpur in not that good, still I am forced to admit ppn is a cut above the rest. Excellent faculty, regular classes and personal guidance are given to the students. Admission procedure is very simple. You need to buy an application form from the college(100 rupees). Enter all the neccessary details and attach the specified documents.
If you can manage to clear the cutoffs(around 88% aggregate) you can get yourself admitted.
Fees & Scholarships :
You must not worry about fee in any college of kanpur university, let alone ppn. fees is hardly Rs 5000 for all of your graduation. If that is too much, you can apply for scholarship and study for free
Academics & Faculty :
Well method of teaching is very simple like you have seen in school. All students who come from convent schools must try for ppn if they wish for a comfortable environment where the mode of communication is english.
Overall experience was good
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Library is available and everything else. Wifi is not available, but things are changing though. May be in a few years, but as of now no, nothing
Clubs & Associations :
There is a ppn alumni club and there are no festivals or prigrams as such. It is the worst part of the college. but let me tell you so is the case with almost all colleges affiliated to kanpur university. CSJMU is the only exception. If you want a real college life experience, try for CSJMU
Life in college in completely mediocre. Much bad if you compare it with your schools.
