INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES:

All the required facilities such as buildings with spacious class rooms, Well developed laboratories, workshops, equipment and tools, library, computers and software, hostels playgrounds, gym, etc. are provided to facilitate the learning process, to keep up and improve physical fitness, and to enable the students acquire the competence and proficiency needed to gain a competitive edge.

CAMPUS AUTOMATION SYSTEM:

A campus automation is implemented using INSPROPLUS package, networking all the departments in the campus by fibre optic cables.

Interactive voice response system-(IVRS) is introduced to help parents know the status of their wards in attendance, performance, results, payment of fees, panel actions if any, etc. by telephone. Each student is allotted a six digit identity number for this purpose.

WIRELESS AND BROADBAND CONNECTIVITY:

4 Mbps internet broadband connectivity through wireless Access (Wifi) is installed from reliance to enable students accessing internet from anywhere in the campus.

It is a boon to P.G. students who are provided with free LAPTOPS by the management, and Hostel inmates to access internet anytime anywhere. There is in addition to the BSNL leased line of 128 Kbps bandwidth, available exclusively to the network and laboratories that will be upgraded.

CISCO PARTENSHIP NETWORK LABORATORY:

To equip the students with skills of international standard in networking, which offers a vast employment potential the world over and enhance the employability of students, a cisco network laboratory is established.

Students are trained to write on-line examinations for CCNA or CCNP certification programme of Cisco worldwide on a very normal fee.

TRANSPORTATION :

College buses are plying from Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Marthandam, Tisayanvilai, Kayal Pattinum and Kalakadu exclusively for our students and staff at a very nominal fare. Women’s Hostel inmates are provided free transport between Hostel and College in the morning, lunch and evening.

LIBRARY :

Our Central Library is a well equipped Library having more than 31,174 volumes of books for various branches of Engineering like ECE, EEE, CSE, MECH, IT and CIVIL and also having books to Science and Humanities relevant to the students.

More than 73 reputed National journals and 46 Magazines of different disciplines of Engineering and Science & Humanities to be aware of the latest trends of Knowledge.

Learning aids like video cassettes, maps & CDs are also available in our Library. We are in membership with DELNET (Developing Library Network), ISTE(Indian Society of Technical Education), ISTD(Indian Society of Training and Development) and Institution of Engineers. 

Services provided in our Library are Reference Service, SDI (Selective Dissemination of Information), CAS (Current awareness service), Documentation service, Inter-Library loans and Document Delivery services through DELNET. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) service is provided through Digital Library. With the help of OPAC service students can search for their required books without getting delay. Reprographic service is also available in the Library to provide ready reference service to the students & staff members who are doing research. All the Library transactions, charging & discharging are computerized..
