Transport Facility

For the convenience of the day scholars, buses will ply every day from different parts of Tirupati to the campus covering major parts of the city.Each bus will cover different areas to reach the destination in time. Also trips in the evening will be there to facilitate the students to reach their homes.Nearly twenty buses are made available for the convenience of students in order to make sure that every student will be seated. Separate buses for boys and girls and separate buses for seniors and juniors are  provided. 

Library-Infrastructure    

Introduction: Priyadarshini Institute of Technology built up a reputation of higher academic standards in all specialties of Engineering since 2008, a true reflection of dedication and hard work. One of the pillars of such high standards is its high quality Library facilities. This college's academic excellence is reflected in its harmonious blend of Infrastructure and its academic environment with high quality Library

Mission of the Library: Library serves as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of books and journals useful for faculty and students by effectively utilizing the timely updated resources through innovations of Information Technology and offer user satisfaction through high quality service.

The artistically designed octagonal shaped library with more than 15,000 volumes, plenty of audio- visual materials & about 120 national & international journals, is indeed a rich repository of knowledge facilitating prospects for future research. The Library building is completely air-conditioned with a seating capacity of about 200 students. A separate enclave is provided for research students. In addition, a reading room facility is also provided for the convenience of students.

Library Automation: The Library is being managed with a fully integrated multi user Library Management Software. Developed by NewGenLib is an outcome of collaboration between Verus and Kesavan Institute of Information and Knowledge management. NewGenLib is developed and maintained by Verus Solutions and Kesavan Institute has provided the domain expertise. Modules: Acquisitions, Cataloguing, Serials Management, Circulation, Administration, OPAC, and Reports.

Digital Library: A digital library is also maintained. It is an online archive of useful software, books and tutorials. Students can download any permitted software from this resource. There are many textbooks and reference books available in the digital format as well. Many lectures have also been recorded and are available online for students’ use. Most courses maintain an intranet site containing lecture slides and other course material.

Laboratories

Central Computing Centre caters to the day-to-day needs of the students and faculty to keep abreast of the trends in Engineering & Technology. The College has 120 terminals with necessary accessories and peripherals which are supported by appropriate software. All the labs are air conditioned and contains LAN connection for internet access to help students to work in practical environment rather than theoretical.This also helps students to think and work practically.Alo the hardware labs are well equipped with all necessary tools and components where  the experiments can be done practically.All the experiments are done in the presence of faculty to ensure accuracy for the output and assistance for the students. The whole college campus is connected with wi-fi which indicates that our college is technically updated. One can access internet without any  wired connections wherever in the campus.

Canteen

PIT has spacious canteen within campus. At the canteen, dishing out menus are highly popular among students as well as staffs. Students enjoy their food in the clean, well maintained, aesthetic and appetising atmosphere. Most people fondly remember their college canteen as one of their life's high points. It is the place where they keep their creative juices flowing with hot discussions, chewing ideas, exchanging and sharing strongly held opinions and eatables.

Kitchen staff takes care to provide the students and staff a nutritious and hygienic food at our campus canteens. A variety of hygienic food and snack items includes South and Variety Rices,Cakes, Fresh Juices, Fruits, Ice Creams gallore the menu.

Canteen has become a welcome break for both the students and staffs and is the daily hob-nob after college hours. Frequently, the discussions get animated as students pet theory is challenged and legs are pulled playfully.

The canteen is the lifeblood of the students. The homely atmosphere and aroma of delicious food permeates the air as they eat, drink and chat. It remains a focal place of the students for rest and refreshment.
