The rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities. The total hostel capacity is 1024. Each hostel or hall has a dedicated mess facility. The hostel has its management, and the warden heads it. 

Lack of Placement Opportunities

Rajiv Gandhi University holds a poor placement record. It has consistently failed to apprise top companies. The limited number of companies that come for campus recruitment also does not offer competitive salaries. The Rajiv Gandhi University Placement Cell conducts various trainings to prepare the students for the placements.

They provide interview training, soft skill development, resume building, etc., to make the student's placement ready. The placement cell is also in charge of inviting companies by providing the necessary information for recruitment. The average salary package offered is around INR 5 LPA.

Diverse Campus Life

Students at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) experience an energetic campus life. There is a lot of diversity and cultural mixing and sharing among the students. Cultural events, sports events, annual fests, seminars, etc., are regular events for the students.

Even though there is no dress code or uniform, there are strict rules and regulations that the students need to abide by. Students must be punctual in their classes. A few minutes late can cause them to be marked absent from the session. The attendance policy at the university is 75%.

In doing so, it has been successful in giving the students a holistic academic experience with an energetic campus life.

While the aspects mentioned above stand true, the other side must also be considered by anyone seeking admission. RGU has seen sub-par placement records. Its lack of infrastructure only adds to the lack of a scenario.
