Entrance Exams & Admissions : There was a selection criteria on the basis of marks in my college. For a bachelor in science degree in physics, we need to have a score of above 75% in our 12th class.
Placements & Internships : Nearly 2% of students got placement in my batch. In my graduation, I didn't get any stipend but during graduation, there was a category of the student who has got more than 75%mark they have given stipend and I was a student in that category
Fees & Scholarships : Our course fee was nearly 20000 for three years including our practicals and project work.
Clubs & Associations : In general life in our college is completely a study-oriented life and it has a cultural fest every year and sports club also

Entrance Exams & Admissions : •Eligibility criteria: - For B. Sc., it was compulsory to have Biology as the mainstream in Science in 12th class or +2. - We have to apply through online or buy the form offline and fill it up. •The selection procedure was based on the cutoff marks instead of entrance exam. In 2014, the cutoff was 69% for the General Category for Zoology B. Sc. For M. Sc., The selection also takes place based on marks. There are 16 seats for Masters and the cut off last year was 84%.

Clubs & Associations : Students election committee is also present and every year election for president, general secretary, science society secretary, sports secretary and the dramatic secretary is done. Among clubs there is sports club with the availability of cricket, volleyball, and other games, students compete in state and national levels from here and college has won several awards in the sports section. Science club and art club is present too. In these inner and inter college competitions are done like quiz, essay writing, students intelligence test, and many other extracurricular activities are done. Also every year there is annual functions led by President, general secretary and dramatic secretary of college. They too contain competition and winners are rewarded. In zoology department every year for best seminar and project students are rewarded too. So as a whole it's a nice environment for students and also takes care of various necessities of students.
Placements & Internships : There is no stipend for the internship provided to the students in Scs autonomous college puri. The students with marks secured more than 60℅ can get scholarship provided that they belong to other backward or schedule caste and their parents income per annum is less than five lakhs .
Fees & Scholarships : There is not any course fee as it is a government college. But admission is done and per semester INR 700-1000 is the fee according to different courses. Also, the practical fee, tuition fee, and library fee are included at Scs autonomous college puri.
Academics & Faculty : Graduation daily routine classes in SCS autonomous college puris started from 11am in the morning and back to the back theory then practical classes are taken. All the semesters have practical and theory paper, only except the last semester has seminar and project work. Lectures here are helping and supporting and also appreciate you when you come up with something new idea. Overall the classes and teaching process is good but it can be much better, and it mainly takes student and letures interaction interest.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels for both boys and girls are available, 4hostels for boys and girls each available at Scs autonomous college puri. Hostels are nearer to college and at most take 5-10 minutes to reach when walked from Scs autonomous college puri. Food in hostels are available and canteen is also in college, food availability and quality is average and price doesn't bother much. As college is probably very old, its classroom conditions are just okay, labs don't have the much modern equipment, but these days zoology department is taking steps to modernise the lab to give a proper experience of practical study for students. The library is one and a reading room is also present. The rules are essential to be followed here. Academics & Faculty : Classes begin from morning 7:00am or 11:00am. Classes for bachelor's degree begins at morning 11:00am and is continued till 5:00pm. Students of every discipline has to submit power point projects in their respective discipline in third year. Third year students have to face seminars once in every week. The college conducts semester exams and each semester is accompanied with two internal exams. The best marks out of the two internal exams is added to the final marks of the semester. The teachers are well versed and good. They are very punctual and cooperative. they are hard working and explains each and every topic with real life examples and the way they explain is very easy to understand. They even provide notes and are always there to help the students. I have an amazing experience in this college. One can learn a lot but one must have the enthusiasm to learn. Teachers are always there to guide you through any difficulty and doubts. In this college each and every festival is celebrated with much pomp and joy which makes the students close to their culture. the college organizes science exhibition for encouraging the students to make use of what they are studying.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee for computer science honors is Rs. 10,000/- per year and we have to pay exam fee of Rs. 1000. SR jindal, Emedhabruti scholarship are the govt. Scholarships available in the sate of odisha and the students apply for this scholarship only. 90% students get the scholarship. No loans are needed.
