The main eligibility criteria for getting admission in architecture or planning in School of planning and architecture, Bhopal is that you should have chosen Maths in class 11 and 12. Although it does matters which stream are you from, either science, commerce or arts doesn't matter, all you need is good marks in maths in class 12. Now for getting admission in School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal you have to appear in Jee Mains paper 2 which is specifically for architecture and planning only.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are overall three hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls. With all the necessities, proper lighting, water, food, etc. You can also live as a day scholar as it has proper transport facility too. The food is very good. Food costs ₹50 per plate. The quality of the classrooms, labs, etc. are very good with proper equipment provided. The entire campus is provided with wifi facility. The campus also has a canteen where you can relax have fun and enjoy after your classes.
Placements & Internships :
You can apply for an internship in any year starting from 1st year to 5th year, in this all you need is a basic knowledge of Autocad or photoshop and you can also earn enough from this. You can apply in any architecture firm according to your skills also you can apply in any NGOs. The pay scale in this generally varies from INR15000-30000 as an intern.
Fees & Scholarships :
As being a government college its fees is not much. The fees structure is different for different categories. Like for general and OBC candidates it is nearly 1. 1L annually including all hostel and mess charges and for sc candidates, it's nearly ₹90000 annually. Students get the scholarship on the basis of their academic performance and also the students whose family income is less than ₹5 Lakh annually they also get the benefit of scholarship of nearly ₹1.25 L annually. Loans are also easily provided from any bank all over India.
Academics & Faculty :
The class starts from 10 am in the morning with a one hour break at 12 to 1pm and class continues till 4 pm. The faculties are well qualified with at least 10 years of teaching experience. Faculties are very helpful and are very nice towards students.
The overall experience in college is very exciting with a pleasant study environment. You can do many things for recreation like play football or cricket or table tennis if you are interested in sports as well.
