Scholarships at Shia PG College, Lucknow:

• S.C./S.T./O.B.C. students get scholarships by the U.P. Govt. on the recommendation of the Principal.
• Other deserving and poor students in Shia PG College also get financial assistance by the U.P. Govt. 
• A large number of Fullfreeships and Half-freeships are awarded to deserving and poor students.
• Best student in each faculty will get a Merit scholarship called S.Ali Zaheer Memorial Scholarship.
• Another scholarship known as Maulana S.M.H. Tahir Jarwali Memorial Scholarship is also awarded to the Best Student in each faculty.
• Students of Shia Community are getting a special scholarship called S. Mohd. Naqi Advocate Memorial Scholarship from the session 2000-2001.
• Poor and deserving students are also given aid from the Students Aid Fund of the College.
