SIPE Law College Infrastructure Details

LIBRARY:

The S.I.P.E. Law College has a very well equipped library which is a prime source for legal research for both the faculty as well as the students. The library is well stocked with various books, journals, periodicals and magazines and law judgments of Supreme Court & all High Courts of India in addition to Central Act & Rules.
Along with the library, there is a very comfortable and adequate reading room offering a dynamic environment for conducting legal and law-related research. A student can borrow 2(Two) books at a time as per Borrowers Card system.
The Library remains open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on all working days. It remains closed on Sundays and holidays.

COLLEGE MAGAZINE/PUBLICATIONS:

The college publishes its annual magazine called “Shree Bharati” and releases them on occasions of different Seminars. The first edition of the magazine was published in the year 2011 in a Seminar titled “Seminar on Environmental Day”.

LEGAL AID CLINIC:

The college has a “legal aid clinic” run by the students with the help and guidance of faculty members of the college and practising Advocates. The same was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr Justice Iqbal Ansari, Judge, Gauhati High Court, during a Seminar organised by the College on “Role of Law as an instrument of social change”. The Legal Aid Clinic provides an opportunity to the students to participate in the judicial process even before they complete their law graduation and this, in turn, will generate a sense of social responsibility in them by helping the poor, needy and downtrodden.
