K.K GEORGE MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

The staff of the St.Peter’s College, Kolenchery have instituted the above award in honour of the late Prof. K.K George M.Sc., A.I.E (London) Principal from 1973-1987.
Cash awards is given two students one each from B.A/B.Com and B.Sc. Degree.

P.C DAVID MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of Physics in honour of the late Prof. P.C David who was the Principal of the College from 1987 to 1990. The award goes to the topper in the final year B.Sc. Physics Examination.

K.I MATHEW MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of Commerce in honour of the late Prof. K.I Mathew, former Principal of the College (1997-2000). The winner of the award will be the topper in B.Com Degree Course.

CHANDY JOHN MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of History to commemorate the service of the late Prof. Chandy John (1971-1996) of the History Department. The award is given to two students of the College who get the highest marks for B.A History.

YACOB MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of Mathematics in honour of the late Prof. Yacob of the Mathematics Department. It goes to the topper in the M.Sc. Mathematics examination.

C.J VARGHESE (BENOY CHATHUTRUHTY) MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of Malayalam to commemorate the services of the late Prof. C.J Varghese former Head of the Department of Malayalam. The award is given to the topper in B.A Degree Malayalam from the College.

K.P KURIAKOSE MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD

This award is instituted by the Department of History in honor of the late Prof. K.P Kuriakose (1970-2002) former Head of the Department of History. The award goes to the best outgoing student of the Department of History, every year.

P.T. MATHEW MEMORIAL AWARD

This award is instituted in memoriam of Prof. P.T. Mathew, former A.N.O of the College. The award is given to the best NCC Cadet of the College, every year.

SILVER JUBILEE (SILVER MATRIX) MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT AWARD.

This award is instituted by the faculty members (2009) of the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics to commemorate the silver Jubilee of the Post Graduate course in mathematics. This award is given to the best outgoing student in M.Sc. Mathematics programme every year.

Endowment award instituted by Dr. P.K Joy, Founder Head of the Department of Chemistry to the toppers in the 1s, 2nd and 3rd year B.Sc. Chemistry programme.

BEST LIBRARY USER AWARD

This ward is instituted by Dr.Thampy Abraham, Principal of the College. This award is given to the best library user, among the staff and students separately every year.

SUVARNA JAYANTHY FELLOWSHIP

This fellowship is instituted by Dr.George .P.Abraham eminent Alumni of the Department of Zoology.The fellowship goes to the cash strapped bright student of final year B.S.C Zoology.
