LIBRARY-

A library is in all respects an integral and necessary part of any institution of learning. To make sure that we, at Swami Parmanand engineering college, do not lack out in making available such an important and integral facility to the students, have come up with individual libraries for all the institutes that are running.

To elaborate a little, the libraries subscribe to 50 periodicals published by Foreign and Indian publishers in specialised subjects and general knowledge to keep the students abreast with the latest development in their field of studies and current affairs. In addition to this, 8 English and vernacular dailies are also on the subscription list of the libraries.

In the thoughtfully furnished spacious reading halls of the libraries, 300 students can be comfortably accommodated in each of the library. The libraries have 6056 total no of books and also subscribed to 1026 Engineering journals, 560 International/National full text journals & to 640 peer reviewed journals, newsletters, reports etc. These can also be accessed online on the terminals provided within the libraries. In addition to this, 260 CD/DVD's of various engineering subjects and allied fields of study are also available.

HOSTEL-

Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls have been made available within the campus, which can accommodate up to 500 boys and up to 200 girls. Utmost care has been taken in building the hostels so as to provide the students living in the hostels with a homely atmosphere. The hostel warden and staff ensure a safe and comfortable environment and also make sure that the food served in the hostel mess is healthy and nutritious. Air coolers have been provided in all the hostel rooms by the college, in addition to installation of geysers and washing machines in the washrooms. In the common room of each hostel, various facilities such as table tennis, carom, chess and television etc. have been provided for the recreation of the hostellers. General newspapers and magazines are also provided in the common room. In addition to this, various get-togethers are also organized within the hostel from time to time and frequent meetings are held between the warden and the hostellers to ensure that the students do not face any kind of a problem.
