TIET, Jabalpur is located at a convenient location away from hustle bustle and from the pollution. With lush green lawns and serene ambience, it provides an appropriate environment for academic work and provides the amenities for all round growth of budding engineers. Roughly square in plan, the campus is situated within a surrounding hills environment of greenery, non-pollution area for  institutional use.

The campus has been designed to complement international technological curriculum and as the optimum environment for 21 st Century education, where every aspect of teaching and learning is supported by modern and relevant technology.

High - End Computing resources and Software Facility
The Computer Labs are artistically and ergonomically designed, where students get an opportunity to develop their skills according to the global needs and international standards. Takshshila Institute of Engineering & Technology has high-end computing and network resources for academic and research programs. The students and staff have access to software tools and systems to execute real-life projects.

The Laborataries are set to create specialist environment required for students of Engineering. Computer Laborataries supports Core 2 Duo Nodes and High End Servers connected through latest switches. Internet and Intranet network facilities supported by high quality software based on curriculum and global requirements, along with latest operating systems, allowing the students not only to develop their skills but also access internet for convenient internal as well as external communication with the cyber world. The college provides free access to Internet to its students through 4 mbps connectivity, the local Intranet, a 100 MBPS switched network, is provided as an interactive platform for sharing resources and building communities. All machines are Wi-fi Networked end loaded with system and application software, multimedia, Internet through broad band and necessary peripherals. Other peripherals such as Laser and Dot Matrix printers, Scanners etc. also support the needs of the users.

In the global workplace today, it almost goes without saying that it is vital to be able to communicate effectively in English. In order to express yourself and show how good you are at what you do, a little language knowledge goes a long way considering the damaging effects language breakdowns have on business relations. There's unfortunately one great problem with foreign languages. You have to learn them. There's no escaping that. I'm fascinated by courses with names like "English Made Easy" or "English in Three Weeks"- but I'm afraid these are usually empty promises. Learning a language requires serious dedication, motivation, and time, but by far the most important ingredient in the mix is the dynamic of the classroom. Our approach to teaching English is to teach "Global English" in a communicative environment. Our teachers are professionals who know how and what to teach?. Teaching English is not "cookie cutter". It must be tailored to the specific needs of the students.

Takshshila Institute of Engineering & Technology library caters adequately to the needs of B.E, M.Tech, MBA, Polytechnic students, research scholars as well as all the staff members.

Our widely stocked library has collection of latest books, Journals, Magazines, Newspapers, Projects Reports and CDs. The library has integrated library management software with OPAC facility. To get digital resources we have got membership of DELNET. Total 17 multimedia computers are available in library. Library has an internet-section of 12 PC with wi-fi net connectivity.

Library has the collection of more than 28000 volumes of books on Engineering/Management/Humanity Science & Personality Development, National & International Journals/Magazines, Newspapers and a good collection of back volumes of journals in bounded form. The college has a policy of buying multiple copies of many of the books. Every effort is made to obtain all the titles recommended by the faculty.

A separate Reference Section is maintained for important and rare books. All the books are indexed through a computerized barcode system and it is being used for the operation of library procedures.

The library is managed by a team of qualified and experienced professional staff, who provide full assistance to the students and helps them to find information through a vast collection of reading materials.
