However, being remotely far from the hub of Industries, very few companies Visit the campus and average placement offerd is Rs 2.2 LPA.
The Alumni network is in its informal stage as the college is newly established.
Academics & Faculty :
Located on the foothills of Himalayas in the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh and comprising of students from all over India, mainly Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim, T.R.A.M.I.E.T, offers its very own unique experience. Th Classes in the college, starts at 10 in the morning and continue for 6 hours everyday, 5 days a week.
Teaching methodology is traditional and use of modern technology like smart classes is going to come in coming years. The degree offered is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Located in the Vicinity of IIT MANDI, NIT HAMIRPUR, NIFT KANGRA this College provides a special platform which no other private college in the State can offer. However the Management falls short in proper execution of things but, the environment is pretty peaceful and fun.
Fees & Scholarships :
Course Fee is Rs 70,000 per annum(excluding hostel fee, not compulsary), which is very cheap compared to other colleges in the country. The fees are approved by UGC and are likely to increase.
Scholarships is given to meritorius students through JEE and HPCET entrance exams. However respective state governments also raise scholarship for students.
here, it is around 40 students get scholarships.
Loan is normally not needed, as per your convienence.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 hostels with 100 rooms and 1 guest house, Hostel Fee is Rs 4000 per month.
PG option is also available.
Food is good, standard. Per meal cost of food is 30/- INR.
Classrooms well furnished, Labs have equipments but they are not well updated and maintained. Library is awesome, DelNet facility is good. Wifi is yet not available, but Internetr can be accessed in Computer Labs.
Clubs & Associations :
UVCLUB, hillfest, cerebration, aagman are few clubs and fest that run and organised by the students of the Institute.
College life is good. Bunks are common.
