Computer Lab

Continuous interaction and exchange of ideas is the demand of the day .Keeping in mind the immense importance of I.T infrastructure, the institute is committed to provide state of art technology in the form of computer center. The computing facilities are fully equipped with IT infrastructure comprising of 3 computer labs, supported by highly qualified IT faculty team to cater to the academic needs of the budding professionals aspiring for careers in IT industry. UIMT has more than 300 Pentium-IV, dual-core and core-2-duo processor based systems networked through Windows 2003 Server, SCO Unix 5.0, Red Hat Enterprise Server Edition. Computer center has latest software including Visual studio Dot Net 2005, Java,Turbo C++, Oracle 10G, SPSS, PROWESS, Power Builder 6.0 and Sybase-II etc. The Computer Labs and the faculty rooms have been interconnected through structured cabling providing round the clock intranet as well as internet connectivity to all the students and the faculty members from morning eight till evening eight, all seven days a week.

The computer labs are a constant hub of activities, providing a conducive learning environment. The trained technical staff is available to help out the students to apply the theoretical concepts, which they learn in the classrooms.

The Internet connectivity is provided through Wi-fi System.

Our Library

Role of library in education is not confined to elementary and secondary education only. It is much more important in higher and professional education. Library is an essential prerequisite for successful implementation of higher educational programmes. Books are sure media for knowing the latest trends in knowledge. Without the help and ready availability of a library, no formal education programme can fructify.

UIMT library has been designed with lot of care, paying adequate attention to the needs of both faculty and students. There is a separate enclosure for faculty members and researchers to enable them to pursue their research interests and the students are provided with individual desks for total concentration.

The ground floor of the triple storied library has been designed as the Reading Section, Reference Section and Electronic Media Library Division. The first floor is devoted to a section containing Journals/ Periodicals, Dissertation Reports and Project Report etc. The second floor devoted to text book area where as two separate sections contain books on management and I.T subject.

Canteen

A canteen equipped withal basic requirements has been provided in the campus. A beautiful Octagonal structure, the canteen has become quite popular amongst the students who assemble there in a congenial environment during the lunch and tea breaks. High quality food stuffs are available at reasonable rates. There is a regular visit from the Director accompanied by a Doctor and his team to check quality of food and the cleanliness of the canteen area.

Lecture Hall

UIMT has a fully air-conditioned lecture hall with a sitting capacity of more than 150 Students. The hall is equipped with Interactive Board, LCD Projector and a large size monitor connected through Wi-Fi connectivity

Auditorium & Seminar Hall

The institute has a tradition of celebrating all National and Religious festivals and other Cultural and extracurricular activities are being organized in the Auditorium, which keeps the students busy and inculcate team spirit in them. This also play an important role in their personality development. For getting the right passion pass through, the institution houses a fully air-conditioned & well equipped auditorium with a sitting capacity of more than 1000 persons.The Institute has state-of- the-art auditorium which acts as a common platform for interface for students, faculty, and corporate personalities. Cultural events, seminars, quizzes are the regular happenings of this auditorium. In addition to the auditorium, for conducting functions.Number of professional bodies like Banks, NGO’etc of the vicinity also use these facilities from time to time free of charge for their meetings.

Sports 

Unique believes that no education is complete unless there are sports therefore all major games like Volleyball, Table Tennis, Hockey, Cricket, Badminton , Basket Ball and other athletics are being played. Interested students go out to play under the supervision of qualified Sports officers and Coaches and Instructors.

Hostel

UIMT has a separate hostel for boys and Girls at Rajchopla on Delhi- Meerut Highway Modinagar with the highest standard of living where students can put in extra hours of effort with atmosphere of interactive living and creative moods. In the hostel, students share a variety of good living, sensitive attention and a nostalgic homeliness.. The hostel has 200 twin sharing rooms. The hostel provides Air Conditioned rooms also. It has dining room, common room equipped with facilities for indoor games and gymnasium. A committed and dedicated resident warden looks after the affairs of the hostel. The hostel also provides locker facilities to the residents. Students also get a highly professional on-campus laundry service. The hostel has separate medical and physical rooms and T.V. room also. The hostels have power backup through genset support to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply. A good number of magazines and newspapers are subscribed to the residents of both the hostels.

Medical Facility

• The institute has its own medical officer and Dentist to take care of the student’s immediate health needs. The clinic runs various health programs at regular intervals.

• The activities include: Treatment Regular Medical check ups of students and staff members.

• Organizing Pathology camps, Vaccination camps, Dental checkup and Blood donation camps.

• In emergency, a separate medical van is available for immediate hospitalization

• The institute has also taken Group Health Insurance Policies for mediclaim and accidental benefits from reputed Insurance Companies. for the students and the staff members.
