The admission procedure for BA (Hons) English at University Maharani College is quite simple. There are no entrance examinations, and the selection is made only on a merit basis. You can fill the form online with all your details and submit it to the college with some other documents.
The admission lists are announced and uploaded to the college website in a few weeks, where the students can easily check the course allotment, according to the information filled in the form. There are only 50-60 limited seats for every honours course. The typical cutoff for the English Literature course is 90% to 92%.

The college holds festivals like Freshers' day, Farewell day, Annual cultural festival (Veethika), Exhibitions, Sports competitions, Annual function, etc.
Participation in different societies and clubs provides opportunities of competing in National and State-level inter-college competitions. The college has a very positive and celebratory atmosphere during the cultural fests. Joining a cultural or sports association is essential for experiencing a quality college life.
