It also provides fellowships for research and projects
The university also provides awards to topper students of different departments

Scholarships	Criteria
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships	These scholarships are offered to postgraduate and Ph.D students Students should belong to economically weaker sections of the society
Free Admissions	Meritorious students from families belonging to below poverty line are offered free admissions
Special Relaxation	Special relaxation in fees are given to exceptionally meritorious students belonging to backward minority and tribal communities
Free Admissions for Toppers	Free admissions are sponsored by ERDF to toppers of branches of different universities
33% Reservation for Girl Students	33% of seats are reserved for girl students in all branches to encourage higher education Preference is given to backward and underprivileged sections of the society
