IT Services

• The VLS strives to provide for a high quality, efficient and secure infrastructure that would enhance the productivity of all its users. To ensure this, the IT infrastructure and services is being constantly reviewed, maintained and updated by a separate IT Committee consisting of a few faculty members and technical staff. The technical staff is encouraged to constantly update their knowledge through periodic training programs.

• The IT infrastructure has grown tremendously over the past few years. The bandwidth for Internet Services has been increased almost tenfold and is now 100 Mbps. This caters to the wireless network in the classrooms, academic block, library and faculty blocks. All classrooms are equipped with computers and projectors. To further enhance the quality of classroom experience “E-Class” equipments are installed in a few classrooms. This will soon be extended to other classrooms.

Hostels

Quality accommodation, separate for boys and girls, on a shared basis with clean and hygienic dining facility is provided by the VLS to desirous students. The hostels expose students to a variety of people, values and experiences. You’ll discover why it is one of the best places to study law as you make friends and develop contacts with mentors you’ll value for the rest of your life. VLS Hostel will provide you ample opportunity to move towards such association and keep-up the motto that education and stay, should go hand in hand in shaping your life.

Library

• Library is the sacro sanctum of an educational institution. One of the core objects of Library of VLS is to make the Law School a Legal Research Centre par excellence. The library offers its researchers one of the finest collections of legal materials in both print and digital formats.

• Vidya Vikas Law School has subscribed to all leading professional law journals like All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, Criminal Law Journal, Divorce & Matrimonial Cases, Company Law Journal, Consumer Protection Judgments, Labour Law Journal, etc. with back volumes. It has procured all titles of leading law publishers like LexisNexis Butterworth Wadhwa Nagpur, Eastern Book Company and Universal Law Publishing, and plenty of other books on Management and other social sciences.

Sports Facilities

From its inception the School has taken efforts to build sports facilities for students. Currently the Law School has a basketball court, a tennis court and indoor facilities for table tennis at the hostels and in the Academic block. Arrangements have been made with the Sports Authority of India complex nearby for the use of their facilities. A plan for a multipurpose sports facility within the Law School campus, in the newly acquired 5 acres of land, is under way.

Health Care Facilities are provided to students.

Banking Services

Staying away from home also require students to get access to finance in a swift and safe at times of exigency. Hence, the VLS has collaborated with AXIS Bank open a Branch for the convenience of the students. Hence, a branch is in operation within the campus. A simplified process is in place for opening students’ accounts.
