Library

• The College Library known as “INFORMATION CENTRE”  is located at the first floor of the College building in a clean and quiet atmosphere.
• The centre is well furnished with wooden carrel reading tables with separate lighting system and comfortable chairs, Journal & New arrival display racks and one charging and discharging counter. The library is fully computerized by the Library Management Software “Easy-lib” to achieve the accuracy and speed up the transactions. The software supports Barcode Technology.
• The library has huge collection of about 10690 books, pharmaceutical journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, indexes, manuals, periodicals of various pharmaceutical disciplines. It subscribes to more than 1000 National and International journals of Pharmacy.

Hostel

Boy’s hostel built in more than 4000 sq.ft and Girl’s hostel in more than 3000 sq.ft for accommodating more than 200 students in each hostel. Both hostels are having separate kitchen and serving pure vegetarian food. Both hostels are being monitored every day for food quality and civic maintenance by hostel monitoring committee. Fully fitted gymnasium which includes aerobic machines, weight machines and free weights.

Transportation:

The college provides transport support for the convenience of its students through a network. Special trips are arranged in the evening, at college, for the students staying back for sports, Hospital, etc.

Wifi-enabled Campus:

In recognition of the need and importance of Internet in the field of education, JSSCP, Ooty campus is a fully WIFI-enabled campus. This facility allows students to access uninterrupted Internet connectivity anywhere within the campus Including Boys and Girls Hostel.

Multi-Purpose Auditorium:

An auditorium cum multipurpose building with 550 seating capacity is available on the campus. This facility is being used for conducting Exam, various functions and meetings as well as indoor games. Campus recruitment activities are also conducted here.

Smart Classrooms:

Smart Classrooms provides direction for harnessing the learning and professional potential of ICT now and into the future.Smart Classrooms is a comprehensive strategy for digital education in JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty.

Bank Extension Counter with ATM:

One extension of Punjab National Bank ATM Facility works for the students to help them in financial affairs. ATM facility is available for 24 hours in the JSSCP, Ooty campus.

24*7 Power Back-up:

The college has a Diesel Generator to provide power supply to the Department and Laboratories in times of power supply failure.
