VIPS alum has appreciated the infrastructural facilities provided by the institute, which has helped students lead a comfortable tenure and accomplish their academic goals. 

Faculty at VIPS is knowledgeable and have a PhD in their respective field of study. However, students say that professors are relatively new in the teaching profession which deprives students of learning concepts using new methodologies. Curriculum on the other hand is relevant and up to date, which helps students manoeuvre the course by themselves.

VIPS offers placements to top companies like Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys and more, which makes it an attractive option for students looking for a future with notable brands. Moreover, internship opportunities are also provided through its placement cell which is a great way to get more industry experience and exposure.

Students travelling from far away usually take up paying guest accommodation or rent apartments in and around the college. Standard accommodation on a double sharing basis ranges from INR 6000 to INR 13,000 on an average near VIPS.

Up to Scratch in Academics

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has a guarded campus, with security guards on each floor and entry and exit points. Additionally, students feel safe and secure with the CCTV cameras placed at key points at VIPS ground. 

Students also actively participate in maintaining campus security by ensuring their female peers feel safe. Particularly students are more cautious and make certain that events such as eve teasing etc does not occur on VIPS campus. Moreover, the strict rules and regulations laid down by the management is sufficient to warrant campus safety and security. 

Dearth of Events and Co-curriculars

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is not big on events and clubs. However, there are a few departmental events which take place round the year. Namely, the school organises,

The average placement package at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies ranges from INR 3 LPA to INR 5 LPA. Considering the fees for each course, the return on investment is moderate, as students expect better pay bundles. 

Nonetheless, the Institute manages to call in the best of companies during their recruitment drive. Some prominent names where students have been placed in the past are Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, Tata, Amazon and Myntra.
