Facilities :-

Lear Jet – 24 (Heavy Aircraft) 

The institute is having its own Heavy Aircraft Lear Jet – 24 fitted with general electrical CJ-610-6 single rotor, axial flow Turbojet Engine in working condition for the practical training of the WIIA students. Wing Span 35 ft 7 inch, Wing tip to wing tip 34 ft 1 inch, Fuselage length 41 ft, Height 12 ft 3 inch, Design gross weight 13000 pounds.Zenith CH-2000 (Light Aircraft)

The institute is having its own Light Aircraft Zenith CH-2000 fitted with Piston Engine (Lyc-O-235) with all systems in working condition for the practical training and ON JOB TRAINING of WIIA students. Wing Span 28 ft. 10 inch, Fuselage Length 23 ft. and Height 6 ft. 10 inch. 

Ahmedabad Aviation & Aeronautics Ltd. (AAA) 

WIIA students get an opportunity to work on operational aircraft of AAA. AAA a flight school operating from S. V. Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad & Mehsana Airfield Since 1994. AAA has a fleet of aircraft for training Pilots. 

Cross Section of Jet Engine 

Engine Shop equipped with different types of Jet Engine in the cross section view which is in dis-mental condition and mounted for the proper knowledge of the students. Students can easily recognized the parts and components. 

Engineering Workshop 

Engineering workshop equipped with different types of Drill Machine, Gear Cutter Machine, Slotting Machine, Planner Machine, Pressing Machine,  Radial Drill Machines, Surface & Cylindrical type Grinding Machine. Slip Roll Former and separate tool kit for each students. 

Airframe Shop 

Airframe Shop equipped with Cessna 152, Air-conditioning unit of the Boeing 747 (Air Cycle Machine), Landing Gear of Boeing 747, different parts and component of Landing Gear and Brake System and each parts is properly displayed, provision of testing the aircraft parts by NDT, different types of Control Cable, Flight Control Mockup, Hydraulic Test Bench. Provision of making model of the aircraft with all controls by the students.Avionics Shop

Avionics Lab – (combination of Electrical Instrument and Radio Navigation) equipped with aircraft instruments as – Airspeed Indicator, Altimeter, Vertical Speed Indicator, All Gyroscopic Instruments, Navigational Instruments and Electrical units as – Aircraft Generator, Motor, Inverter, Relay, CB, Switches and different Electronics Equipments and Radio Navigation & Communication Equipments for getting practical knowledge for students.Jet Engine

Jet Engine Shop is equipped with Turboprop Engine AN-32 and AN-12, Turbo Shaft Engine, Turbojet Engine SU-7(Motor Operated), Turbo Shaft Engine (Dismantle and mounted on stand as mock up & working model of Jet Engine and different components of Jet Engine). 

Piston Engine Shop 

Piston Engine Shop is equipped with four cylinder opposed (Lycoming-O-235, O-320), Six cylinder opposed (IO-540-C4B5) and different types of Magnetos, Carburetors, Starter, Alternator, Super Charger, Propeller.

Six cylinder in cross section mounted on the bench which is manually rotated for understanding the movement of Piston, Valve Operating Mechanism. Engine are available for removal and installation by the students during practical. 

Computer Lab 

We have designed our Computer Lab for Advanced Computing. It is fully equipped with 30 latest configuration PCs, Printers, Scanner, Multimedia devices. We have used high-speed devices for Networking.Turbo C/C++ both Windows & DOS versions, Visual Studio 6.0, AUTO-CAD R-2000 are installed for 'C' Programming, Visual Basic, Engineering Drawing respectively and lots more as per requirement of courses.
