Student’s Aid Fund and Scholarship

The institution has a regular student help fund, managed by the principal, where students can get up to 100% aid based on their merit and financial circumstances.
The college also successfully implements the WB Government's Kanyashree scheme.
Prof. Arun Kumar Mukherjee and some retiring teachers fund Women’s College Calcutta scholarships.
Based on the Principal's suggestion, student aid is also sponsored by Usha-Ajay Foundation India.
Under any of the schemes mentioned above, 100% of the applicants receive financial assistance.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fees were near 15000 at Women's College, Kolkata. The scholarship option available to students was a minority, merit cum mean scholarship etc. In my department, about 35% students get the scholarship.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for my course at Women's College, Kolkata was 10+2 from recognised boards with science subject with minimum 60%.

Placements & Internships : I have done my internship in NRS during the 2nd year at Women's College, Kolkata for 1 day and also in Jadavpur KPC during the 3rd year for 15 days.

Academics & Faculty : Everyday, there were 4-5 honours classes and 2-3 general classes at Women's College, Kolkata. The quality and method of teaching were very good. The college was very well maintained and was situated in a good atmosphere. The teachers' was very responsible and careful. They gave us very good notes.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are about 5-6 hostel nearWomen's College, Kolkata. Some hostels are looking very nice.

Clubs & Associations : Durga Puja is the main festivals at Women's College, Kolkata. The life in college is very simple.
