HPSOS Application Form 2025: Registration Process for Class 10 & 12

HPSOS will conduct the registration process for classes 10th & 12th final examination in October 2024 (tentative). The HPSOS application form 2025 will be released online on the board's official website for candidates to apply.

Candidates must fill out the HPSOS board exam registration form before the HP Board SOS form last date 2024. The online platform makes the registration process easier for students; however, candidates need to pay the registration fee within the due date to receive the admit card on time. Candidates who fail to complete the registration process within the specified period will not be allowed to appear for the HPSOS board exam.

Candidates who wish to appear for any examination conducted by the board should apply online on the board's official portal. The head of the concerned school will be held responsible if the application is incorrectly submitted and not verified.

HPSOS 10th Examination Eligibility Criteria 2025

A candidate shall be declared eligible to appear in the matric examination given that the candidate is from an institution that is affiliated to the board. The following criteria need to be satisfied before appearing for the HPSOS 10th exam. 

• The candidate should have passed the 9th class examination of the affiliated institution and be present in the active rolls of class 10.
• The candidate has not passed an equivalent or higher examination of any other board or university.
• The candidate has completed the prescribed course of study in the subjects that are required to pass the examination.
• The candidate has to hold a good mode of conduct.

HPSOS 12th Examination Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the HPSOS 12th exam. The following are the criteria that a candidate should meet to appear for the open board class 12th examination.

• The candidate should have passed the matriculation examination of the board or HP State Open School (HPSOS) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
• The candidate has not passed the equivalent or higher examination of any other board or university. 
• The candidate has completed the prescribed course of study in the subjects required to pass the examination.
• Candidates should bear good moral character.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of the HP board - hpbose.org.
• Step 2: Select the "SOS" option from the top menu bar of the homepage.
• Step 3: A new window opens with SOS exam details and click on the "Apply Online" section at the top of the page.
• Step 4: Find the "SOS Class 10th Exam Application Form" link on the page and click on it.
• Step 5: The application form page will be displayed where you have to provide the necessary credentials and log in.
• Step 6: Provide all the required details on the online application and submit the same.
• Step 7: Download and take a printout of the HPSOS application form 2025 and then submit the hard copy to the respective school authorities.
