Madan Lal Cricket Academy (MLCA) is an initiative by Mr. Madal Lal the former Indian cricketer. It is managed by Matchcraft Sports Management. With Mr. Madan Lal as the head coach at the academy, Kuunal Lal, Andrew Dawson, and Blake Moore also serve the academy as the coaches for the students.

Madan Lal Cricket Academy: Highlights

Madan Lal formerly coached the UAE team for the 1996 World Cup, and he continued his coaching between 1996 September and 1997 September. Besides, he was also a member of the cricket selection committee from 2000 to 2001 and the Delhi Giants coach until 2008.

Matchcraft Sports Management manages Madan Lal Cricket Academy, and the academy aims to bring cricket and education together in India with the Amenity School of Education. Madan Lal Cricket Academy: Admissions

Madan Lal Academy admissions for children under 19 categories are made through trial matches in different schools and selects the best and most talented students for training and represents national and international matches. Trainees are provided with professional equipment from cricket bats to batting gloves, including batting helmets.

The admission process for Madan Lal Academy is pretty simple:

• Between 7 to 11 years of age, boys or girls can take admission directly, which costs around Rs. 3000 per month.
• MLCA admission for players with 16 years or above are conducted based on trials.
• The coaching commences 4 days a week on Thursday, Friday,Saturday, and Sunday. (from 3PM to 6.30PM)
• MLCA are currently not providing any hostel facilities for players coming from far places.

MLCA has two bowling machines and video analysis sessions during the daily practice sessions. Besides, they help students analyze the time-to-time movements of games.

Students from the academy have represented junior state levels and first-class levels, and they are still bringing laurels to the academy. There are different session timing during summer and winter.
