• Make sure to reach the CAT exam centre before the mentioned time.

The feature allows the candidates to locate the exam centre without the hassle and reach it on time. 

Biometric Registration and Verification of Documents

• Before entering the CAT exam hall, candidates must ensure that they are carrying all the valid documents. It is essential to avoid unnecessary checking. 
• Original ID proof and admit card should be produced after checking the biometric registration and the left thumb impression should be taken and verified. 
• The candidates should sign the attendance register. 

Exam Day Guidelines for PwD Candidates for CAT 2024

Candidates who applied from the PwD quote will get an extra 20 minutes to finish the exam. Besides, the conducting authority will provide a separate room with access to the elevator.

Candidates must carry all the supporting documents. In addition, the candidates who applied for scribe must make sure both have signed the attendance sheet. The candidates who applied for the wheelchair will get the facility of same.

• Carry the self-declaration.
• Affix the photograph used during the application form fill-up process to the admit card. 
• Visit the CAT exam centre before the exam is conducted. 
• If required, use the washroom before the beginning of the exam.
• Carry the disability certificate if applicable.

Don'ts on CAT Exam Day

• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, wristbands, and cameras are strictly prohibited.
• Candidates are advised not to wear any metallic jewellery.
• Candidates with implants such as pacemakers or metallic devices are requested to bring proper medical certificates.
• Candidates are not allowed to wear footwear beyond the frisking point.
• Except for the ones mentioned, stationery items are not allowed in the CAT examination hall.
