CGBSE Schedule for 10th and 12th Supplementary Exam Released

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released the class 10 and 12 supplementary exams date sheets for the board examinations. While the class 10 exam will begin from 4 to 12 July, the exams for class 12 will be conducted from 4 to 16 July.

According to the statement released by CGBSE, the supplementary exam will commence on 4 July in an offline mode. The timings scheduled for exams will be from morning 9 AM to 12.15 PM. Also, this year the exam will be conducted only in one shift. The statement also stated that the board would charge an amount of INR 200 for a single subject while INR 240 for double subjects; meanwhile, for more than 2 subjects, the candidates will be charged an amount of INR 460 accordingly. The children who could not clear their exams will be able to appear for the supplementary exam.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education’s Secondary and Higher Secondary exams started on 2 March 2022. The results for the candidates were released on 14 May. This year 6.5 lakh students appeared for the Board examinations. In the 10th examination, the passing percentage was 74.23, while in class 12th, the passing percentage was 79.30. Due to the epidemic, the exams were not conducted in an offline mode for the last two years. This year on the decline in cases, CGBSE decided to hold exams in a physical mode.
