IIT Kanpur NPCI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and NPCI have together signed an agreement to share knowledge. IIT Kanpur and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) have also agreed to join hands for innovative ideas. They are also collaborating on the development of indigenous digital payment solutions.
The institute said that this collaboration will help the NPCI to have control by increasing cybersecurity. It also gives control of its subsidiaries’ products and services. A wide array of collaborations between NPCI and IIT Kanpur will precipitate the MoU.

The eminent faculty members will conduct deep informative sessions with this collaboration. They will also be delivering lectures for NPCI personnel on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Security Product Roadmaps, Cybersecurity, and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT). On the other hand, NPCI will offer lots of internships to the students on different projects. They will offer internships to Kanpur students. Students will gain valuable experience working on live projects at NPCI.
It said that, the knowledge of IIT Kanpur students is domain centric. Their expertise will help NPCI in expeditiously executing the ever-evolving requirements of consumer-oriented offerings.

The collaboration with NPCI will strengthen the goal of achieving a holistic cyber secure ecosystem for the country. The association will cover the best of both institutions in developing a tough digital payment system. However, it will also make way for opportunities for multi-disciplinery research.
