ASSET is a carefully and scientifically designed, skill-based assessment test. It does not examine rote learning, but it uses MCQs which focus on measuring how well the student has understood skills and concepts underlying the school syllabus. To give ASSET English Olympiad, all the aspirants have to first register for the exam (on the official website or via school). Students can then download the admit card from their profile in Educational Initiatives using their ASSET PAN (once it is released).

ASSET English Exam Admit Card Instructions
Details that every registered candidate should keep in mind before entering the examination hall are,
- Students must report to the allotted exam centers 30 minutes before the commencement of exams.
- Students will be allowed to enter the hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam, i.e., to fill out the necessary details in OMR Sheets.
- Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall 10 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
- No extra time will be provided to the students to complete the exam.
- The student may leave the examination hall only after completion of their exam.
