Combine your IIT/JEE preparation with KVPY
If a student is an aspirant of JEE or AIPMT, then the KVPY preparation will be easier because the KVPY syllabus is the same as the JEE/AIPMT syllabus. Students can combine their KVPY preparation and entrance exam preparation simultaneously. Students are suggested to refer to the study materials of JEE from various sources. Questions asked in KVPY are of JEE Advanced level. Stay focussed and concentrate on basics, fundamentals, and core concepts. The KVPY preparation will boost up for the same and other competitive exams too.
Prepare Subject-Wise
The students require strong problem-solving skills and conception clarity to crack KVPY. The student must focus on every subject and prepare a plan around it.
Physics Section
This section is typically challenging in KVPY. Numerous queries are asked from the topics like Optics and Resistor Series. Even in the SA exam for class 11, few questions are asked from class 12 on topics like Len's Maker Formula and Kirchoff's Rule.
Chemistry Section
The question asked in the chemistry section is easier as compared to Physics. Most exam questions are based on reaction or property-based; few questions will be from the chemical equations.
Students are expected to have a clear concept and thorough knowledge of organic and physical chemistry and chemical bonding. NCERT isn't ample for physical chemistry.
Mathematics Section
The questions for KVPY Maths will range from medium to high difficulty levels. The preparation level for this exam must be well. Substitution, trial & error conjointly work for this subject. Students must give more practice time during KVPY maths preparation.
Biology Section
KVPY Biology is considered the easiest subject. The student must need to be thorough in their concept of classes 9 and 10. Moreover, it is the easiest section, and students can easily qualify in this section.
Solve KVPY Sample Paper and Previous Year Question
By solving more previous year question papers, the student will get a clear idea about the KVPY exam questions. It will give students in-depth knowledge and will help them analyze the difficulty level in each subject. Students are suggested to solve at least one KVPY sample paper or previous year question paper every week and time themselves accordingly.
