National Social Studies Olympiad
The National Social Studies Olympiad (NSSO) was set up in 1989 to allow students to showcase their talent. This is an exam that tests students’ knowledge of social subjects such as History, Geography, and Civics. NSSO is conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad at the national level once in a year. The exam is conducted within school premises itself, so it is made easy for the students to attempt. The syllabus for NSSO is based on the syllabus which is taught in school.
Students from different boards like the State Board, CBSE, ICSE, and so on can take part in this exam. NSSO Registration
The registration for the social studies olympiad is not a big hassle at all. The process involves school registration and student registration. ITO allows only school registration. So, it is important for a school to register with ITO. Only after successful registration of school, students of the respective schools can apply for ITO exams. Students should enroll their name and roll number to their school coordinator for the Indian Talent Olympiad Registration.
NSSO Syllabus
The syllabus for NSSO covers all the topics taught in the school. Students do not have to end up studying from other books. NSSO syllabus contains all the aspects of school educational requirements. The NSSO syllabus focuses on chapters that are set by the standard education boards like CBSE/ICSE.
