NTSE Bihar 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The students of class 10 are eligible to apply for the Bihar NTSE exam. The student must be studying in any recognized school in Bihar to be eligible for the Bihar NTSE Exam. The detailed eligibility criteria for NTSE Bihar are mentioned below,
Candidates Studying in India
Students studying in India must qualify for the Stage 1 examination conducted by the state/UT government to be eligible for the National Talent Search Examination conducted by NCERT. Only students who clear the NTSE stage 2 are eligible to avail themselves of scholarships.
Candidates Studying Abroad
Candidates of Indian origin who are studying abroad are also eligible for the NTSE exam. The student must be currently studying in class 10 to appear for the NTSE stage 2 examination directly.
NTSE Bihar 2024 Registration
Bihar NTSE application forms are available for download at the official website of SCERT Bihar. Students can apply for the NTSE exam by filling in the application form and submitting it to the DEO's office of the concerned district. The principal of the respective schools must duly sign the documents.
The application fee for Bihar NTSE is as follows,
- General and OBC Category - INR 150
- SC/ST and Other Disabled Categories - INR 75
Note- Students belonging to SC/OBC category must attest to the copy of the caste certificate issued by SDM/Tehsildar with the NTSE application form.

NTSE Bihar 2024 Admit Card
Students can download their NTSE Bihar admit card from the official website of SCERT Bihar. Students must have a hard copy of the NTSE admit card on or before the exam day. No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a proper or valid admit card.

Bihar NTSE syllabus is the same as per the school curriculum, and the sample papers are available for download in pdf files for students. NTSE Bihar syllabus covers classes 9 and 10 of recognized education boards in India like CBSE, ICSE, etc. Besides, the organizing committee also provides the mock test for the NTSE preparation. It helps students understand the idea of exam patterns and manage time to answer the question in the test.
Individual sample paper files are available for MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) sections. Solving sample papers helps the students strengthen fundamental knowledge, time management and better understand theories and principles.

Answer keys for the NTSE stage 1 exam are available in pdf form. Students can verify their answers with the correct answers mentioned in the answer key to predict their score.
Students are also allowed to object to the answer key before the deadline. After the answer key objection deadline, no objections are entertained. And the final results will be released on the SCERT Bihar a week after the answer key release date.

NTSE Bihar 2024 Scholarships
NCERT awards about 2000 scholarships for different stages of education.

- A scholarship of INR 1250 per month is given to students of classes 11 & 12.
- A scholarship of INR 2000 per month is awarded to undergraduate and post-graduate students.
