The International Olympiad of English Language (iOEL), conducted by the SilverZone Foundation, assesses students' ability and knowledge in the English language. The exam is held annually at national and international levels, as per the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE, and various other state boards. SilverZone iOEL 2023 assessments also test how a student can communicate in a given context. These exams can be opted by students from classes 1 to 12 held every year at national and international levels.

iOEL 2023 Important Dates
SilverZone iOEL all students from classes 1 to 12 are eligible to participate in iOEL level 1. The top 1000 rank holders of the iOEL level 1 from each class are eligible to compete for top positions in an iOEL level 2 examination. All class 1st rank holders with a minimum of 75% of marks with a minimum of 100 student participants in a school are eligible to apply for iOEL level 2 exams.
The first rank holders of iOEL level 2 exams of classes 6th to 12th will be eligible for level 3, the final level exam, conducted in New Delhi, India.

iOEL 2023 Registration Form
iOEL registration can be processed only from the student's respective schools; no individual participation is encouraged by the SilverZone Foundation. The registration for the iOEL level 1 is live till 31st August 2023.
The following are the steps to apply for SilverZone English Olympiad 2023.
- A prospectus containing the registration forms, fees, and study materials will be sent to the registered schools.
- School coordinators or teacher-in-charge of respective schools will be responsible for getting student registration.
- Students must fill out the iOEL registration form to appear for examinations and submit it to the school coordinators.
- SilverZone Foundation requires students to fill out the registration form within the given period.
- Students must do registration under the guidance of the school coordinator or parents.

iOEL 2023 Registration Fees
The participation fee for the students who are appearing through schools outside India is USD 8 per student. USD 2 shall be retained by the school against its expenses towards an invigilator's honorarium and other charges like postal expenses, DD charges, photocopying, etc.
For schools in India, the participation fee for the Olympiad is Rs.120 per student, out of which Rs.20 will be retained as expenses by the school towards compensation of the invigilator and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges, photocopying, etc.
iOEL 2023 Admit Card
Registered candidates can download their respective iOEL admit cards from the official website. The students who have successfully applied for the iOEL can download the admit cards for the 1st level exam.

iOEL 2023 Syllabus
Any students of classes 1 to 10 under any recognized board of India can write this examination. There are no negative marks for the wrong answer, and students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer.

iOEL v Sample Papers
Sample papers are of importance for iOEL olympiad preparation. Once the participant has completed the preparation, they can assess themselves by practicing iOEL sample test papers.
- Solving the SilverZone iOEL sample papers will give a student a fair idea of the pattern of questions asked.
- They also help in improving the pace of attempting the paper in time. Students can get the sample test papers from the official website.

iOEL 2023 Results
SilverZone reveals the iOEL results after the successful conduction of the examination. And it SilverZone releases the iOEL results approximately 30-40 days after the final exam.
- iOEL level 1 results are available on the official website in March 2024 (Tentative).
- To keep track of the English Language Olympiad 2023-24 results, candidates must be in touch with the official website.
- Besides, students must enter their school code, roll number, class, and section to view their results.

Note: There is no iOEL level 2 exam; SilverZone English Olympiad is a single-level exam.
iOEL 2023 Awards
Students who are the top scorers are offered the SilverZone awards and prizes. The winners of the iOEL are entitled to the higher level award only.
For example, the international top 3 rank holders are awarded only at the international level; they won't be entitled to national, zonal, or class awards. In such a case, the iOEL awards for their Zonal ranks will be awarded to the next rank holder, which holds the same for the zonal award winners.
