National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is a competitive exam held by the Unified council for students to test and improve their mental, logical, and reasoning abilities. Toppers of the NSTSE exam receive many awards and prizes. NSTSE awards include various cash prizes, certificates, medals, and vouchers. A good rank in the NSTSE exam also works as an advantage for students to secure admission in various international universities and prestigious schools.

NSTSE Awards
Toppers of the National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) are awarded amazing prizes to honour their abilities and hard work. NSTSE awards include cash prizes up to INR 2 Lakhs, various medals, vouchers, gifts, and certificates. The main aim of awarding prizes is to encourage children towards their studies and make their fundamentals more strong for future competitive exams.
Students with the highest scores are offered special mention awards and scholarships. NSTSE prizes are distributed for the national toppers, state toppers, and also city toppers.
NSTSE National Level Awards
Students who have scored under the top 100 receive an appreciation at the national level. The student who scores the highest percentage of marks out of all the classes is considered NSTSE toppers.
NSTSE awards for the toppers at the national level are given below.
- NSTSE toppers receive a cash prize of INR 2 Lakhs.
- The top 3 students among all the classes receive a laptop, memento, and a medal each.
- Students holding ranks from 4 to 10 receive a cash prize of INR 3,000 each.
- Students holding a rank from 11 to 40 receive a cash prize of INR 1,000 each.
- Students holding a rank from 41 to 100 receive BMA’s talent and olympiad exams resource book from Brain Mapping Academy.
- All the students holding ranks from 1 to 100 receive an Olympiad coach online subscription worth INR 1198, a medal, and a certificate of appreciation.
- A certificate of participation is awarded to all the students who appeared for the NSTSE examination.
NSTSE State Level Awards
Students under the top 3 at the state level from each state are awarded an Olympiad coach online subscription worth INR 1198 and a certificate of appreciation. There must be a minimum of 10,000 participants from that state. Students eligible for national awards do not qualify for state awards.
Note: State-wise, NSTSE toppers are announced after consolidating the national toppers.
NSTSE Zonal Level Awards
Top rank holders from each city receive a subscription of online olympiad coaching worth INR 1198 and a certificate of appreciation from the Unified Council. This coaching guides and trains the student for the next olympiad exam.
NSTSE Class Awards
NSTSE awards for the class toppers are declared after announcing national and state toppers. There must be a minimum of 500 participants in a particular city for each class. All the national, state, and class toppers receive an NSTSE prize voucher worth INR 400 from Map My Step.
Note: Students eligible for the state awards do not qualify for the Zonal awards.
NSTSE Toppers
A participant of any class who scores 100% marks are called NSTSE toppers. NSTSE toppers get a cash prize of INR 2 Lakh. If no participant achieves the same highest score, then the student who scores the highest percentage of marks among all the classes gets a cash prize of INR 1 Lakh. If more than one candidate scores the same, the prize money will be divided equally among them.
NSTSE Consolation Prizes
The top rank holder from each class among the selected cities receives the NSTSE consolation prize. The consolation prize includes an Olympiad coach online subscription worth INR 1198 and a certificate of appreciation.

NSTSE Answer Key
NSTSE is a big platform that helps the student to sharpen their logical and reasoning abilities. NSTSE also provides Student performance reports (SPR) to each student to analyze themselves and improve their weaknesses. Besides, NSTSE also provides students with an answer key before the result date to thoroughly analyze every question. Students can download this answer key from the official website of the Unified Council.
