To calculate the KCET rank, both class 12th (Science) and KCET marks weightage are to be considered while calculating the rank. 50% weightage of KCET marks and 50% weightage of class 12th’s is to be for calculation. To calculate the KCET rank, you can add the marks obtained in the 12th board exam with the obtained KCET score, then multiply the answer by 100.

For calculating KCET rank, 50% weightage of the class 12th marks (science stream) along with 50% weightage to the KCET scores is considered. For eg: If you score 220 out of 300 in PCM, then it is 73%. If we take the class 12th weightage then it would be 36.5. If you secure 120 out of 180 in KCET exam (PCM 3 Subjects), then it is 66.67%. If we take the KCET weightage then it would be 33.33%. Using the cumulative percentage, students can calculate their KCET rank (36.5%+33.33%=69.83%)

The KCET Rank is decided with the help of both Boards Exam Marks and KCET Exam Marks. The Board Exam marks get 50% of the total weightage and 50% of the weightage of the KCET marks is also considered. Now, add your marks secured in PCM marks in your board exam and the best possible marks for your KCET exam. Then, multiply the result by 100 to express it as a percentage. You can use any rank predictor tool and use it to get the expected KCET Rank.
