I completed two internships- I) Online pedagogy creator- Rekhi Centre IIT Kharagpur (15/07/2020-15/09/2020); stipend -6k/month ii) subject matter expert and quality control expert in doubtnut (11/11/2020-25/10/2021); stipend - 27k/month 2) Google, Microsoft, DEUTSCHE BANK, Goldman Sachs, Intel, Samsung, Vedanta, TCS, BAJAJ, ACIS Bank, Namura, MasterCard, American Express, Visa and 350 other companies hire from the campus for the role of Software Engineer, analyst, finance, it etc. 3) average salary- 13 LPA (domestic) 70lpA(abroad) Highest salary- 35 LPA (domestic) 1 .2 crore per annum (abroad) 4) Alumni network is very strong, they have a usa foundation for IIT KHARAGPUR.

Twenty-seven hostels (21 for boys 6 for girls) are there; the hostel fee is 30k/semester which is included in the course fee. The hostel is mandatory for each student. No pg options as the hostel are mandatory. Food is very good, costs Rs.12k/semester, which is included in the course fee. Classrooms (all classrooms are smart classrooms fully air-conditioned, state of the art technology-enabled, 70 Mbps wifi is also available. Labs are also Fully air-conditioned, high-speed wifi enabled, all kinds of smart technology-enabled. Dining halls are very clean and furnished, at a time 200 people can eat. Hostel rooms are very well furnished and neat&clean.

1) one has to first clear the specific cut off in Jee Main exam (92 percentile) and then have to secure a rank within 12k (all india rank) in jee advanced.In my time there was an additional criteria of 75% in 12th but that was waived off in 2020. 2) First jee main and after clearing the cut off, I took jee advance 3) 4-6 k All india rank

1) classes are held Monday to Friday (8 am-1 pm and 2pm_6pm), there are 3 exams that take place (class test, mid sem, end sem), 1-2 assignments/subject are given in the semester, from 3rd year onwards projects are given. 2) Quality and the method of teaching is excellent. 3) Overall experience is very good. There are teaching assistants to clear doubts.

Course fee at Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur is INR 1.5 lakh/semester (if income more than INR 5 lakh/annum),66 k/semester (if parents income is between INR 1-5 lakh/annum), 33k/ semester (if parents income is less than 1 lakh/annum) There are more than 20 scholarship available for students, the main scholarship is MCM, provided by MHRD At an average every year 600 students of the institution get a scholarship from different courses and disciplines. Loams can be easily availed from SBI, Punjab National Bank and Indian Bank from campus branches.

As many as 32 societies are present on the campus (robotics society, technology literature society, technology dance society, research society, etc.). Students are selected through an interview/task for these societies. The campus has two main fests- Spring fest (annual cultural fest) and KSHITIJ (Asia's largest techno-management fest). Also, we, the iit KGPians, celebrate Diwali with earthen pots by making big structures of different themes like Mahabharata, which is famously known as Illumination. General championships on sports, quiz, drama, debate take place each year between the residence halls. Intern IIT championship also takes place each year. Life is awesome in general and a bit hectic.
