Two internships: 1. Self-applied in Shipper Pvt. Ltd. for role of data analyst. The stipend of 10k pm 2. Through CDC of college in Schlumberger Pvt. Ltd. for role of Jr. Field Engg. Stipend 15k for 45 days but stay and travel all managed by the company in 5-star hotels. The average salary of department: 12-13. Lakhs per annum Percentage of students placed ~90+% Very strong alumni network

Around 20+ hostels, with good cleanliness, good internet connection, but no coolers/AC allowed. Hostel fees is around 15k per semester including mess fees. Food quality okay, varies from hostel to hostel. No student allowed to live outside campus. Quality of classrooms and labs is also good and developments are also being made.

Entrance Examination: JEE Advanced Eligibility/Cutoff: Rank between 1.5-2k in the year 2015

Classes daily between 8 am-6 pm. Not continuous. Depends on the time table. Lunchtime from 1-2. Good quality teaching and open subjects for those interested in other departments. A great experience, exposure to real-world problems in day to day life. Not just academic but a place for overall development for people who seek to explore.

The scholarship is not available in Mech. department apart from final year GATE/M.Tech scholarship. Students with CGPA>8 or who have qualified GATE get this scholarship Loans/Scholarships are easily available for students with economy issues from home

Several technical and social clubs exist like E cell, Team Kart, Pravah, Encore, Tech. Dance society etc. Two main college fests Khitij (Technology fest) and spring fest (cultural fest). Apart from them, Illumination is one the best intra hostels competition organised every year during Diwali. No sports fest in college. Overall life is calm and tension-free if you do your work in time. A lot of exposure and opportunities to develop oneself not only technically but personality-wise as well.
