Entrance Exams & Admissions : Currently, admission is going through JEE Main percentile, but in my time, there was a separate exam named UPSEE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure for my course at IET was pretty straightforward. We had to appear for the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) exam and based on the final rank achieved by the candidate, he/she would be allocated various colleges. At that time, there were three main government engineering colleges that students preferred, HBTI Kanpur, IET Lucknow and MMMEC Gorakhpur. For IET, You had to have a General rank within the top 2000 to have a shot at admission along with quota seats for OBC, SC, ST, Armed Forces, Freedom Fighter, etc. There are no such eligibility criteria for a particular course except a valid UPSEE score and rank. In general, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering are the most sought after branches and typically admit students with general ranks within the top 1400 in the UPSEE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are PCM in class 12th with above 65% and admission procedure is simple, you just have to appear for the UPSEE state entrance exam. The entrance examination is UPSEE for this state government college. The cutoff is usually that you have to score under 1100 rank.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibilty criteria for admission is (10+2) examination passed from any recognised Indian board. UP State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) is required for admission and the typical cutoff is 440 and above.
