Last semester projects are done, so college helps us to get in some companies. There are many companies for campusing in BIT like Mesra like Microsoft, Yahoo, Goldman Sachs etc, also core companies for core branches like NTPC, IOCL etc. Average salary package is INR.4-6 lakhs pa.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There were 10 hostels for boys and 4 for girls on the main campus of BIT Mesra, some of the extension center of BIT, Mesra also has hostels. Hostel fee is around INR.30k-35k. There are plenty of PGs and homestays available near the college costing INR.5k pm approximately with good quality food is served included in hostel fees. Classrooms are big and airy, big labs with good infrastructure, each hostel has dining hall
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Candidates should have a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in average in graduation
Academics and Faculty
Classes run from 10 AM to 5 PM, which includes theory, practical and assignments. There are internal exams(called quiz) once in every 4 weeks. Total 3 internal exams throughout the semester, then semester exams for all subjects with practicals and assignments. Quality of teaching is very good, teachers support and work hard for students excellence
Fees and Scholarships
Course Fee in 2010 was INR.57000 per year. Scholarship. If required, loans can be obtained from any PSU bank, as BIT, Mesra comes under premier college
Clubs and Associations
There are multiple clubs, students can join any club like dance, music, painting, sports. The main festival of BIT Mesra is Bitotsav takes place every year with lots of great performances.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for Mca in bit Mesra is to qualify BITSAT exam. The BITSAT exam is conducted by bit Mesra itself. Only the students who will score marks more than or equal to cutoff marks, they can apply for admission. Selection list can be viewed on bit website. Generally, the cutoff marks go around 100 for the 1st selection list. Minimum cut off marks is around 70. One can also get benefit using state quota seat availability
Academics & Faculty : Schedule was punctual. 75% attendance was mandatory for everyone. Teaching quality was good. Teacher is knowledgeble and helpful. Overall experience was good. Need more extra curricular engagemnets for overall growth.
