Infrastructure is very nice. You will have top class rooms in the hostel. You can choose between ac and non-ac rooms. North Indian meals, as well as South Indian meals, are available in their respective mess. The fee varies for different rooms and for various facilities. The WiFi is available at every corner of the campus.
For Vellore Institute of Technology, you have to write VITEEE entrance exam which is conducted by the University every year in the month of April. The results get announced after two or three weeks of the exam. Based on your all India rank you will be called for counseling procedure.
Vit uses a flexible system for choosing course at your comfort. You have the ability to change courses and take them in any other semester. You have the liberty to choose the course and timings of classes also. we have quality faculties. Industry tie-ups are there which will help you in your project.
My course fee is INR 1.55 lakh per annum which is excluding of the hostel fees. Scholarship options can be availed during the counseling process. But many people prefer loans which can easily be covered by any bank.
There are a total of 34 student clubs as of 2017, ranging from academics to extra curriculum activities. Its mandatory for the students to join at least one club on the campuses. Mainly two festivals are celebrated and are popularly known as, technovit( a technical fest) conducted in the month of September and Vibrance( cultural fest) conducted in the month of February which elevates the college life inside the campus at the higher level.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for a bachelor degree in any of the engineering fields requires the student to have a minimum of 60% in PCM their 10+2 examinations. Admissions to the university are based on the performance of the candidate in the VITEEE examination conducted in the month of April. Seats are offered based on the student's rank in the VITEEE. Generally, a rank of 30000 or less in the VITEEE is enough to secure a seat in any of the streams.
