Admissions Process for MTech at IIT Indore 

Here in this section, we will discuss the admission process for aspirants who are seeking admission into IIT Indore. The first step in the admission process is shortlisting the candidates.

• The shortlisting process is solely based on the GATE cutoff prepared by the institute.
• Candidates who clear the cutoff marks will be called for M.Tech Counselling sessions.

Admissions Process for MTech at IIT Indore: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a valid GATE test score to apply for the various courses at IIT Indore. General category candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in their B.Tech degrees to be eligible for the admission process at IIT Indore.

For reserved category candidates, they must score a minimum of 55% marks in their B.Tech degree.

For IIT B.Tech graduates, the eligibility criteria is graduation from IITs with a CGPA of 8 and above. For these applicants, a GATE score is not required for the admission process and they are eligible for the direct admission process.

The application procedure is done in an online mode for M.Tech admissions to IIT Indore. Various steps regarding the application procedure are listed below:

• Before the filling up of the application forms for IIT Indore, candidates must make sure that they pay the application fee. The fee can be paid through the official website of IIT Indore.
• The candidate must take a printout of the fee receipt as it contains a transaction ID.
• Candidates must enter the transaction ID first to activate the application form.
• Make sure you enter all the details carefully. After filling up the details, submit the application form and take a printout of the same as it is to be sent to the address which is mentioned on the official website of IIT Indore
• As part of the admission process, the candidates must submit the necessary documents along with the hard copy of the application form.
