With 110 companies participating in the IIT Indore placement drive 2022, the college enjoyed an excellent season, with 94.5% of the students getting placed in the B. Tech. Course. IIT Indore highest package stood at INR 56 LPA in the placement drive, which saw 30 new recruiters. IIT Indore average package was 23.5 LPA. Well-known and big multinational corporations like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Wipro, ISRO, ZS, etc visited the IIT Indore placements and offered lucrative offers to students.

The IIT Indore average package rose from INR 18.00 LPA in 2021 to INR 23.50 LPA in 2022. The IIT Indore highest package in 2020 was INR 65 LPA, which had a slight reduction in 2022 and stood at INR 56 LPA.
