Placements and Internships

Among the big four, only E&Y visits the campus. The rest are TCS Ignite, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Oberoi Group, AON Hewitt, IBM, Concentrix, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Larsen and Toubro (L&T), Genpact, etc. In the session 2015-16, 340 students were placed in these companies. Placement cell also organises internship fairs in which students can work as an intern in this fields in different startups to gain experience.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

Classrooms are spacious but lack regular cleaning. Many benches in the old building need to be replaced and washrooms need to be renovated and cleaned to maintain hygiene. The library has a large number of books for advanced learning. Computer labs are well-equipped with good computer systems. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled but its range is limited to some areas. There is no hostel facility in the college

Entrance Exams and Admissions

I took admission in PG dev college in the course BCom Hons in the year 2015. I got admission in the 1st cut off list which was 95% for BCom Hons but last year that is 2017 the highest cutoff has reached around 96.5%. I took 5th-semester exams last year in November in which I score 7.25 GPA.

Academics and Faculty

4

I am in the morning batch where the timings are generally from 8-2 which covers lectures of all the subjects. Highly qualified and experienced teachers are there in the commerce department who are really helpful in clearing all our queries. Interactive learning methods are used that encourage students to come up with their views. There are approximately 40-45 students in a class. The course curriculum is useful without putting a burden on students.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

the annual fee is around INR.12,000 and scholarship schemes are available for certain cases and not on merit basis

Clubs and Associations

3.5

The name of the annual fest of the college is Aaghaz which is organised in the first week of February. There are many societies for students to participate in like street play society, finance cell, placement cell, societies of respective department etc. and there is a separate fest of each society every year.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission is just that person should have done his 12th from any board in india. Admission procedure is dependent on the cut-offs, college announce some cut-offs lists on diffrent dates and accordingly students have reach the very next of announcement of cut-off for admission. Then students have to verify their document where administration will check whole certificate and verifies students admission, after verification they will send a link to their website to make to payment of fee and students have to pay the fee within in 3 days for confirming their admission. There is no entrance exam for this course (b.com(h)). Admissions are done on the cut-offs basis. The first cut-off for b.com(h) hits 90-95 percentage and then it start decreases and the very last percentage came out around 80-85 percentage this is only for OBC.
