But it's not necessary to take a job, there is a lot of competition and faculty are good, a lot of workshops to build your personality and skills. The eligible ranks always change each year but usually for engineering the college takes in the first 20000 ranks in COMEDK UGET. Top branches like CS, IS, ECE only take ranks till 12000 in COMEDK UGET. MECH, CIVIL, AERONAUTICAL, AUTOMOBILE can go till 20000. PS; The ranks fluctuate each year so it can go above or below 20000 only for COMEDK UGET.

Cultural clubs contains dance, vocals, arts, literature. This is the only student society. Torque is a fest hosted by the mechanical department and is one of the best. But it is a mini-fest and mostly technical debates and lectures and competition. Vibration is hosted by the first years of the first year's. Milestone is the hostel night.

The college has there own entrance exam called DSAT. There is no typical cutoff for my course. But the student must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in science and mathematics.
