Placements & Internships : Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Deloitte, Cisco, HCL and a lot more are coming for campus hiring.Average salary figures is about 12 L/annum. The highest salary figure goes to 22-24 L/annum.The college conducts several alumni meetings under various groups for current students for better guidance about the future. The alumni of DSCE is working in many different platforms, software and theatres as well.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For the admission procedure, there are two ways: KCET (for KARNATAKA students) and COMED-K (for NON-KARNATAKA students). I opted for COMED-K entrance examination. For COMED-K, the ranking should be under 50k.

Fees & Scholarships : Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 2.9 lakh per year. The scholarship for students (mostly native students) via COMED-K and KCET is different. It is high for COMED-K students (around 1-2L) but affordable for KCET students (around 60k-70k).  Students can opt for loan criteria from any bank. However, all the accounts of DSCE is linked with Vijaya Bank.

Academics & Faculty : The opening timing of the college is sharp at 9am which continues to be till 5pm, but it depends on how many hours classes are there. Although from the 2nd year onwards, there will be 2 day batch labs which will be conducted in the second half of the day which goes mostly from 2 pm - 4.30 pm. The quality as well as method of teaching is very good as the college provides interactive and involvement classes. Overall experience is good with 3 theory internals, 1 lab internal, 1 lab external and finally the sem end.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels for boys (Indian and NRI) and 2 hostels for girls (With mess and Without mess). PGs near colleges are way cheaper than hostel fees. Its around 5-6k/month for single bed, one cupboard and food - 4 times a day. Food quality is good in the hostel mess and the meal cost is included in the hostel fees. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls are good, but the wi-fi connection is very slow.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs inside campus including tech and non-tech activities. Sports activities, department fests, college fest (Furore and Vibrations) are conducted for students gathering and enjoyment. In general, life in college is good.

Placements & Internships : There is a strong alumni network at this college; students enjoy being in the campus and interacting with each other. Major companies like Accenture and Infosys come to hire students from this college. There are brilliant internship opportunities provided too.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There were no particular eligibility criteria for my course. Students can be from any of the streams in class 12/PUC. Admission procedure was straight forward, write an entrance exam, i.e., KCET or COMEDK, submit fees, and join college. The cutoffs change every year, so it is difficult to tell what the cut off is going to be.

Fees & Scholarships : Scholarships are provided for students who show potential to succeed (i.e., only marks on paper and not exactly knowledge). But there are scholarships provided though. Loans can be availed depending on the financial situation of the candidate. Some banks that offer loans to study at this college are Vijaya Bank (its right outside the campus), SBI, etc.

Academics & Faculty : Academics and faculty are really amazing here. They treat us like adults and not like school children (like some places do). The lecturers here are really chill, and they can be strict when needed. They understand how to get through to each student because of their years of experience.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hostels to choose from. There are a few buildings outside of the campus that serve as PG's or hostels for the college. The meals in the college canteens are affordable and are somewhat okay in taste. Its not as good as a five-star restaurant but its okay for sustainment. Classrooms and libraries and everything else are amazing. We even have a dedicated meditation building too.

Clubs & Associations : Multiple amounts of clubs at this college are pretty easy to get in. These clubs offer experience in terms of extracurricular activities, and they also help students in realising their true potentials and if they could make a career of their extracurricular activities. The people involved in these clubs are damn chill and are easy to get along with.

Placements & Internships : Internship is mandatory in your academics curriculum. It should be done before you graduate from college. I did two Internships without ant stipend. I learned how company works and their work culture. Presently I am doing an internship at Getmyuni in Content marketing and SEO. Placements are good in DSCE most of the students get hired from different companies. Companies from the background of IT, Marketing, Sales and Automobile come for the hiring process. They offer Graduate engineer trainee role, Business development executive role, Associate stack engineer, Full stack engineer role and many other jobs. Average salary as college mentioned is 6 LPA. As I know, one got placed in IT background company for 22 LPA. They arrange Alumni meet every year where you get to interact with them.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering(DSCE). To get admission in this college you need to finish your PUC from state board or Central board, After PUC, you can write Common Entrance Test(CET) which is conducted by the state government. If you are doing engineering after Diploma you need to write DCET. You will be selected directly to 2nd year as Lateral entry student. There is a facility of management quota, students can directly take admission from college.  After the test when you get your rankings they will call you for Documents verification. Basically they will verify your Identity, Marks Cards. The tests you can take are Common Admission Test(CET) COMEDK Diploma CET  Cutoffs vary from branch to branch. If there is more demand for a particular branch then the cutoff for that branch will be very less. You can go through previous year Cutoff list which they release on the official website

Placements & Internships : The students get an internship only after they are placed and in the same company. However, I did not sit for placement and hence, I had to look for my internship elsewhere.  Students graduating from this course are offered roles in the various departments like structures, design and mechanical analysis.  The average salary that the Students who graduated in the 2019 batch have received is around 3.5LPA. The highest salary figure being around 6LPA. The number of students that get placed, who've graduated from this course, every year is around 50% of the total class strength of this course. The college has a very strong alumni network and hosts about two alumni meetings every year where the students and alumni get to interact with one another.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission into the college for this course can be either diploma, 11th, and 12th or PUC. If you've done a diploma, then you get lateral entry into the second year of B.E.  Of course, the entry into the college requires an entrance examination result such as CET, ComedK or the college's selection examination called DSAT. I had applied for CET and ComedK. I entered the course through my ComedK result. The cutoffs for the course of aeronautical engineering are 60% and above in your 10+ or PUC courses. If you wish to enter through CET, you'll need to have a score of 6000 or less. If you wish to enter through ComedK, you will need to have a score of 13,000 or less. Of course, this score keeps changing every year based on the previous year's performances of the students in these entrance examinations.

Fees & Scholarships : Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore Fee Structure. Fees of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is INR 1 lakh per year. The course fee depends on which entrance exam you have entered through. ComedK entrance fees are 2LPA. If the student wishes to enrol through a management seat, then the fees go up to about 3LPA and a donation of about 10 Lakhs at the start of the course.  The scholarship is given to students is solely dependant on their yearly performance.  The average number of students who receive scholarships is about three to four per department per year.  Loans can be taken out and that depends on the student's financial background. The banks that do give loans easily to students are State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Vijaya Bank and a few others referred by the college.

Academics & Faculty : The college day starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM. This can vary based on the timetable given by the department that the student enrols in. The college encourages students to conduct mini-projects every semester in exchange for credits and marks that can affect their final score at the end of the semester. There is one assignment per subject per semester. Every semester has two compulsory internals and one back-up internals and of course, the final examination. The quality of teaching is average given the amount of fees collected by the college. The method of teaching is very mediocre and I feel there is a lot of room for improvement.  The overall experience in college is pretty good as they have a lot of extracurricular activities and fun projects for students to participate in.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college has three hostels on campus and the hostel fees vary between 60,000 and 1 Lakh. There are 20+ PGs and flats for students to rent around the college within a radius of 1Km.  The food in the college is mediocre, mostly South Indian food and it costs about 50 to 100 rupees per meal. The classrooms and labs are well maintained with top of the line equipment in the laboratories. There is free wifi in college to use during a college day with a data limit of 1GB per day. The washrooms are well maintained with cleaning every 3 hours.  The college also has a new meditation center where students can come and meditate to refresh their minds during college hours.

Clubs & Associations : The main club for students to be a part of is The Center for the performance of arts (CPA). There are various parts of the CPA such as the music club, the theatre club, the literary club, and the art club. The existing branches of the college also have a Gym, Squash court, Tennis court, and the newest branch of the college opening on Kanakpura Road is rumoured to have a golf court as well. There are four to five festivals in the college hosted by each of the main departments like BBA, BE, Dental and Physiotherapy branches. All these festivals include tech, sports, cultural and so on.  College life in Dayananda Sagar is very much attractive as students have an option to thrive in these cultural activities with support from the college if they are unable to thrive as much in academics.
