College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- I would definitely rate high for infrastructure & Teaching facilities in Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati [IIT Guwahati]. The computer center is having abundant PCs having access to the internet and also to thousands of online international journals, libraries having good books & all major national, international research journals.
- The Hostels are simply superb, they have only single occupancy rooms, so ample amount of privacy & safety. Each room is having LAN connection, fan, Cot, reading table and a chair. Each hostel is provided with own play ground apart from common playgrounds. Classrooms are also good having all facilities, laboratories are equipped with all latest & essential equipment.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes in Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati [IIT Guwahati] are regular and there are at least three theory classes per day with a maximum of 5 classes of 1 hour per day
- There are at least 3 labs per week, the professors are highly experienced and some of them having more than 10 papers published and are one of the best in their field.
Clubs and Associations
- The Alcheringa is certainly a place to have the best possible fun and party endlessly. But it’s a lot more than just that.
- The Alcheringa provides an ideal platform for upcoming artists and talented youth of the country, especially in the North-East, to showcase their talents and to realize their dreams.
